About Molly
Molly Lee is a professional multi-talented beauty artist based in Naarm (Melbourne), with a lifelong passion for beauty and artistry, and a background in journalism, creative writing, & theatre.
Molly first completed a short course at Elite Hair and Makeup Academy, then furthered her studies at AACM (The Australian Academy of Cinemagraphic Makeup). She graduated with a diploma in screen & media, the highest qualification a makeup artist can receive in Australia. She has since continued to further her education, receiving certifications in Brows, Lashes, & Body waxing with CeeCees, LED light therapy with Medilux, and skincare services & facial massage with La Biosthetique.
She spent 4 years working in product sales and private clients, honing her skills & following an intrigue for product knowledge.
Working as a freelance artist, you can find her work on Tones & I's "Won't Sleep", "Fly Away", "Fly Away - Jimmy Kimmel Live", & 2023's Time Addicts (now on Netflix!) among various editorial, commercial and other projects.
In 2025 Molly re-entered the specialist makeup industry with a focus on short films, working as head of department for hair & makeup on over 10 films in less than 6 months.

A lil note from me!
For me, my artistry is more than just cosmetics.
I believe there is something truly special in the way beauty services can make you feel, and the magic that it can create, both on-screen and in everyday life.
My superpower is connection, I understand that feeling beautiful and looking beautiful are not one and the same, and my goal is to make every client feel as beautiful as I believe they are.

I am proud to provide that magic with a professional, welcoming, and unforgettable experience, no matter the occasion or desired outcome.

Film & media is my passion, and that joy and genuine excitement reflects in my work and attitude, especially on set.
I often say "we were all just kids with dreams of making movies once", so when I'm not glamming clients, you'll find me on set, usually covered in fake blood or holding something for the camera department.
